Belgrave & Tecoma Township Group is encouraging Hills residents to take a closer look at their home and contents insurance at a free community workshop to be held at the Belgrave Community Hub on Wednesday 2 September 2026.

The “Insurance Unlocked: Tips, tricks and know-how” workshop, supported by Yarra Ranges Council, will help local residents better understand their insurance policies and whether they have adequate cover for the risks they face.

The workshop will be delivered by the experienced disaster recovery team from Financial Counselling Victoria (FCVic) and will focus particularly on home and contents insurance and risks including storm, flood and fire.

Time: 6.00 for a 6.30 start. Concludes at 8.30pm (Light supper provided.)
Venue: Belgrave Community Hub
